About Me

I’m human too!

Congratulations on taking the first step on the path to taking care of yourself. And for your taking the time to get to know a little about me. I have been called Q, Mr. Q., Quag, or Mr. Quaglino for years. Sometimes, I am even called Chris. Helping teens and adolescents think things through and get unstuck is my life’s passion. My office is a calm, safe place where we will work together to make life better for you. I will really listen to what you tell me is happening in your life. We will then come up with some concrete actions to help shift things in a more positive and empowering position. I offer a non-judgmental space where we are free to explore and develop ways to create a more enjoyable life. Or maybe you just need a safe place to vent. That’s okay too. I am also known for calling it like I see it when needed (i.e., call you on your “stuff”). I have seen positive changes happen for thousands of others and I believe we can shift your life towards the positive too. Some examples of positive feedback from people I have worked with are available by PRESSING HERE. I know it is very important to feel comfortable with whoever you choose to work with, so please give me a call, let’s talk.

Thanks for reading all the way down to here. This is a quick story about the Glorious Tree picture on my HOME page. I took this picture at the school where I worked, but this story starts many years ago where I attend an annual gathering of men in New Mexico. As we men sat in a ceremonial circle, a Shaman joined us and was ‘seeing’ and describing each of our spirit animals. When she came to me, she hesitated and then skipped me saying she would get back to me. I admit that I was disappointed at first, but this quickly gave way to curiosity. She did work her way back around to me and to everyone’s surprise, she said I was actually not an animal at all. She said my ‘spirit’ was that of a Giant Glorious Tree. I thought, “What? A tree?”. She could see the confusion on my face and then explained her vision of people coming to sit in the comfort of my shade, to relax, rest and feel safe, to think things through and discuss what was bothering them. After I thought about it, this did sound pretty appropriate. It described the concern and support I offer people who trust me to work with them. So, come and sit with me, relax, and let’s talk about what’s going on. You can share with me what you’d like to work on and we will come up with strategies and a solid plan that will get you started on making positive changes in your life. And for those who don’t like sitting in an office, I am also available for long walks if you don’t mind that we may run into someone you or I know. We’ll talk about the pros and cons first.
